Cancel via Phone Call
Cancelling by a phone call is one of the fastest ways you can cancel your Hayu subscription. Just follow the steps below:
- Make sure you know your account details such as the email you use for your account and your payment method.
- Call the Hayu team on
- Explain that you would like to cancel your Hayu subscription and why.
- Once you have explained that you want to cancel you will need to provide some personal and account information.
- The member of the team will then cancel your subscription for you.
Cancel Online
If you would prefer to cancel your subscription follow the steps below:
Step 1 – Go to the Hayu Website
Once you are on the Hayu website you need to click on the ‘sign in’ button on the top far right of the page.
Step 2 – Sign In
You will need to enter your email and password or login with Facebook or Twitter.
Step 3 – Click on ‘Account’
In the top far right of the screen, you will find an ‘account’ button, click on it to access your account settings.
Step 4 – Cancel Your Subscription
Once you are in your account settings, it should already be on the subscription tab. It will inform you of your recent payments and how you pay for your subscription. If you are like me and pay for your Hayu subscription via iTunes you can follow the steps below. If not you should be able to cancel your subscription here.
Cancelling Via iTunes
If your subscription is paid via iTunes you can easily cancel your subscription via the iTunes store.
Step 1 – Go to The iTunes Store
First, you need to go onto your iTunes app. Scroll down to the very bottom and you should see three options about your iTunes account above where it says “email iTunes support”. Click on Apple ID.
Step 2 – Log Into Your Apple ID
Once you’re logged in (you will either need to use your touch ID or log in manually) select ‘View Apple ID).
Step 3 – Select ‘Subscriptions’
Once viewing your Apple ID you should see multiple different setting options, scroll down and select the ‘subscriptions’ option.
Step 4 – Select The Hayu Subscription
Here you will see all of your subscriptions, select the subscription option that says “Hayu U.K Subscription”. Then click ‘Cancel Subscription’.
Step 5 – Cancel Your Subscription
Finally, just click confirm and your subscription will be cancelled. If you still have time left on the subscription you will be able to use the services until the date you were next due to pay the subscription.
