Naked Wines is a unique online wine club supporting independent winemakers. They offer various types of subscriptions for fans of wine and even beer. However, if you are not happy with the arrangement, this will show you how to cancel the Naked Wines subscription (Angel, WineWizard, Fine Wine Discovery, or Beer).
Cancel by Telephone
1. To speak to a person at Naked Wines about cancelling your subscription, call their Customer Happiness Team on 01603 281869. They are happy to help you from 9am to 5.30pm on weekdays, and until 1pm on Saturdays. You may have to wait on hold before you speak to a team member if the phone lines are busy.
2. When you are through to a person at Naked Wines, tell them that you are calling to cancel your order or subscription. You will need the order number if you are only cancelling that individual order. It may be too late if Naked Wines has already despatched it. Otherwise, explain which subscription you are a member of and why you want to leave this club. The Naked Wines team member can make sure it is cancelled for you.
3. If you have any outstanding vouchers on your account, find out if you need to use them before cancelling or if you will lose them. If you are cancelling your Angel membership, make sure you know how much you should be getting back as a refund. You can complain about any problems you have had with the service at the same time. If your reasons for cancelling include poor quality wine, you could ask for a refund for that.
As an online retailer and subscription service, Naked Wines makes it easy to cancel online. Simply go to the website at nakedwines.com and click the “Login” button in the top right corner. Alternatively, you can use the live chat to request assistance during opening hours by clicking the “Get in touch” button to the right.
You will have created an online account when you placed your first order. Use your log-in details to sign in again and access your account. If you register for a new account, it will not contain your old subscriptions.
In your account, visit the “Account History” or “My Wines” page to view your previous orders. You should be able to find your active subscriptions or memberships. Whether you are a Naked Wine Angel, or signed up for WineWizard, the Naked Fine Wine Discovery Club, or the Naked Beer Subscription Service, you can cancel any of these at any time. There are no membership fees, so there are no cancellation fees either. If you are an Angel, they will refund any money in your account if you decide to leave the scheme. You could also e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org regarding an order if you only want to cancel that one specific order.
Cancel by Post
If you are cancelling or postponing an order, it is best to contact Naked Wines online or by phone. That way they will receive your request sooner, ensuring that your delivery doesn’t go ahead in the meantime. If you want to cancel a subscription or make a complaint about the service, you can do this by letter. Make sure to send it with enough time for it to get there before your next delivery is due. You should include your details so that Naked Wines can identify your account. Let them know if you want them to completely close down your Naked Wines account.
