Topshop is a British fashion retailer with around 300 shops in the UK, and websites for several countries. If you are in the UK, this guide will tell you how to cancel your Topshop order in order to receive a refund.
Cancel Topshop Order by Telephone
1) Contact Topshop by calling 0333 220 2507 as soon as you decide to cancel a Topshop order. You have the options of pressing 1 for account cards, pressing 2 for gift card balances, or holding the line to reach Topshop customer services. When you get through to the next available agent, explain that you want to cancel your order. You will need to provide the order number and other details to confirm your identity.
2) If you call quickly enough after placing an order, they should be able to cancel it for you before dispatch. However, if they have already started the dispatch process, it may be too late for you to cancel. When this happens, you will have to wait to receive your delivery. You can reject the parcel from the courier and they will have to return it to Topshop. Otherwise, they will tell you what your options are for returning an order.
3) Due to high volumes of orders and strain on their resources, Topshop deliveries and returns have been taking longer than usual. Returns can take from 14 up to 28 days to process. If you do not receive an e-mail confirming your return and refund after this time, then call Topshop on this number to track your returns and refunds. Provide your order number and the return parcel tracking number to confirm they received it.
Cancel Topshop Order Online
When you order from Topshop online, you should receive returns labels in the package with your invoice. If you lose them, you can go online to create a Royal Mail returns label. You will have to print it off before taking the parcel to the Post Office. Once you have sent off a return, you can track its progress with your online account. Go to the Topshop website then click on the little person symbol in the top right corner.
This will take you to the log-in screen where you can enter your details to sign in. You should have created an account on the website the first time you placed an online order with Topshop. Click on the link to reset your password if you have forgotten it. Once in your account, you can view your orders and returns in the “My Orders” section of your account profile. You can also amend your account details here if you need to.
If you need online assistance with cancelling an order or with a return, you can tweet @TopshopHelp on Twitter. When you are too late to cancel and have to accept the delivery, you might be able to return your items instore to get a refund sooner. However, store returns are not possible for some products and for orders made using Klarna. Use the online tool to locate the closest Topshop store to take your items and dispatch note to in order to get a refund. They will tell you in the store if you can get a refund or exchange.
Cancel Topshop Order by Post
To get help with cancelling or returning an order in writing, it is probably faster to send an e-mail to the customer services team. You can contact Topshop by e-mail at email@example.com. You can find the postal address for their head office below if you would like to write a letter. However, this is not the address for processing returns. You should only post returns to the address on the returns labels that come with your order or that you create online using your order number. The head office address is where you should direct letters with enquiries or complaints about returns or refunds, as they can look at your account for you and resolve any concerns you have. Always include your order details and contact details.
